We respect the rights and dignity of all people. All information that our participants share with us is kept private. We protect our participants’ information in different ways:
If you participate, we will ask you to share some identifying information and some research data.
Identifying information is data that can be used to figure out who you are, like your name, birth date, or address.
Your identifying information will not be shared with the government.
Research data are things like survey responses or your answers to interview questions. This is the information we use to answer our research questions.
We remove your name and other identifying information from your research data so that no one will know these data came from you. We only share the research data, not your identifying information, with the government.
